Snow in Breckenridge?

As 2012 rolled into Breckenridge, flakes finally started to fly. With a two-week total of over 30 inches upper lifts at the resort finally opened in mid January.  The face shots were well worth the wait!

Mmmmmm face shots!

Amidst the falling snow my crew and I set out with some cameras and were eager to find fresh tracks and creative lines. Our first location south of Breck was somewhat of a bust. After hours of set up and a pretty decent hike we had built a sick up-down log in the woods.  I snapped it on the first try, but we still managed to get the shot.

With the log busted we to had resort to creativity and find something to session. After finding some trees with an opening to blast through, we set up a corrugated tube pole-jam into the opening. After countless tries and lots of shoveling we snapped some of my favorites photos of the season (so far).

With new snow blanketing the resort I could finally venture out of the park for some pow turns and some long overdue cliff droppin'. I strapped on the go pro one morning and made this little POV edit of the day.

Let's all pray to Ullr that the snow keeps up!
